All of the culinary creations of the resort are led under the tutelage of Executive Chef Keith Schockling. Joining Mission Point Resort in 2010, Chef Keith brings over 20 years of fine dining and resort culinary expertise to Mission Point.
After 12 years with Walt Disney World in Orlando, where he worked his way up from line cook to sous chef for the some of resort's finest restaurants, Chef Keith spent six years as executive chef for Wolfgang Puck's in Orlando, Florida.
Chef Keith finds Mission Point Resort to be the perfect venue to showcase his culinary skills and experience. His goal is to make Mission Point Resort the premier dining experience on the island, and the destination for local and international culinary students and chefs to learn how to create the ultimate culinary experience for resort guests.
In addition, Schockling was the featured chef in the industry-leading EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival for four years, working closely with celebrity chefs from around the world. He was also a guest chef for the Disney Cruise Lines on several occasions, where he conducted a variety cooking classes for cruise passengers.
