Movie Theater

Located next to the Activities Center, our turn of the century theater is a one-of-a-kind Mackinac experience.  As the only movie theater on the island, it will give you the feeling of going back somewhere in time (literally - the classic theater scene with Christopher Reeve in Somewhere in Time was filmed in here).

First Run Movies or Classic Movies are shown on Monday, Friday, and Saturday nights (Memorial Day to Labor Day).  Show-times start at 8:00p.  Tickets can be purchased at the door, or in advance at the Activities Center.

The schedule for which movies will be showing during your stay are usually posted a week or two in advance, be sure to check out our event calendar for more information.
