Vendors
Provide us with the list of vendors you have already chosen. Be sure to include names and contact information.
If you need assistance finding additional vendors, let us know – each property has a list of preferred vendors to share. Many of our properties offer floral design, lighting, decor and other services in-house.

Rehearsal

  • Choose a date and time for your rehearsal and rehearsal event. Typically this is the day before the ceremony.
  • Choose a rehearsal event. Commonly a dinner, the event is an opportunity to entertain family, out of town guests and the bridal party before the wedding day. Create a list of guests for both the rehearsal and the event. The rehearsal should include all members of the wedding party, the officiant and the wedding planner. The dinner may include additional family members and friends at the discretion of the bride and groom.

Pre-Ceremony

  • Where will the groom be getting ready?
  • When will pictures be taken?
  • Will the bride and groom see each other before the wedding?
  • Do you need a holding room for the bridesmaids or groomsmen?

Ceremony

  • Consider the atmosphere you would like to evoke during your ceremony. What type of music would you like? Would you like specific songs performed at key moments?
  • Would you like to offer a unique enhancement to your ceremony, such as a special refreshment for guests, artistic furniture placement to enhance guest socialization, a fireworks display or more? The sky’s the limit! Provide a full list of the entire bridal party in order of entrance. Make sure to include any family members and their escorts.

Reception

  • How many guests will you have? What type of seating will you offer for these guests?
  • What type of menu would you like? Would you like tray-passed items, culinary stations, a seated meal, or a combination of these and other options?
  • Will you have a cake?
  • Would you like an open bar? Will you offer a signature drink? Make sure to include non-alcoholic options.
  • Will you have a theme for your reception? How do you want that theme translated into décor? Would you like any special lighting?
  • What type of music or other entertainment would you like? Would you like specific songs performed throughout the event at key moments?
  • Will you set up a gift table? Would you like your gifts stored?
  • How will you distribute table assignment information?
  • Create a full schedule of events, including a timeline for introductions, the first dance, any blessings and toasts, and the cake cutting.

Post-Wedding

  • Would you like to host a post wedding brunch the next day?
  • Will you require any special assistance packing your wedding dress?
  • Have you decided who will be responsible for transporting your gifts home after the wedding?
  • If you are leaving on your honeymoon directly from the hotel, do you need special assistance with travel details

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How far in advance can we book our Wedding?
A. Sooner is always better. Most Couples make firm reservations between six months and one year in advance. We are happy to check availability for the date you have in mind.

Q. How much of a deposit is required?
A. A non-refundable deposit is due with the signed contract.

Q. Are there any extra set up fees?
A. There are no hidden costs in our package price. All set up of tables, chairs and dance floor along with china, glassware, silverware, skirting and linens are included in our prices.
Q. What type of linens, napkins and centerpieces are included?
A. We offer white tablecloths and white napkins on property. Other choices may be special ordered. Our skirting is plain white or white lace. You are welcome to use our 10 inch round mirrors and votive candles, for your guests' tables.

Q. How early will the Ballroom be available to set up the day of the Wedding?
A. The room is normally ready for your florist, band, or DJ to set up an average of 2 hours prior to the Reception.

Q. May we offer a choice of two Entrees to our guests?
A. Yes. We ask that you identify on your place cards which Entrée each guest ordered. For example, some Brides use a red dot for Beef and yellow dot for Chicken.

Q. Do you offer Children's meals or vegetarian options?
A. We have a special menu for younger guests that includes their favorites like chicken tenders, spaghetti and french fries. We also offer several vegetarian options based on your guest's dietary needs.

Q. Will we be able to taste the selections ahead of time?
A. Once your Wedding date has been confirmed, we will schedule a private tasting with our culinary staff. At this meeting you can taste the items that you have selected along with cake combinations and special wines.

Q. Can we bring in our own food and beverages?
A. No, Mission Point will provide all food and beverages. We take pride in adhering to all Federal, State and Local regulations to ensure proper food preparation and beverage service. Exceptions are sometimes made for certain specialty items. Please contact the Wedding Sales Manager for further details.

Q. Do you offer any special guestroom rates for our Guests?
A. We would be happy to set up a special room block for your guests at a group rate for the weekend of your Wedding.

Q. Can we have our Ceremony at the Resort?
A. We do have areas on our grounds that can be used for Ceremonies based on the time, number of guests and availability. There is an additional charge to have the Ceremony on-site.
