Pets FAQ
Mission Point loves dogs - of course! There are a number of rooms in the Straits Lodge which are dog friendly. We do require that all dogs are arranged in advance by calling (800) 833-7711. A one-time, non-refundable dog cleaning fee of $100.00 is charged.
Yes – leashed pets are welcome to ride with you on both Shepler’s and Star Line ferries. For specific questions about how to get your pet to the island, please contact the ferry company.
Yes, dogs are permitted at all of our on-site restaurants that offer outdoor seating. Special accommodations are possible during inclement weather as well; arrangements can be made with the Concierge or Restaurant Host during your stay.
Yes, please give us a call for details about our pet policy at (906) 847-3000. Mission Point welcomes all well-mannered dogs and reserves the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous or unacceptable behavior. If your pet is disturbing other guests/staff or causing damage, the pet will be removed by hotel security officers. Should you wish to do an island activity without your pup, pet sitting options may be available upon request through our Concierge and does require 24-hour notice.
In pet friendly rooms, custom Mission Point dog beds made by Carhartt can be found in the closet. Dog waste bags are located at the west end of the Straits Lodge and near the Great Lawn.
