  • “Romantic Get Away”

Excellent getaway! Once you step off the ferry its like a step back in time, a step away from the busy work life. Smiling faces every where and such a gorgeous bike ride up Mission Point. The grounds are so beautiful!

  • "Precision and classic Northern Michigan beauty"

Precision and classic Northern Michigan beauty are the two things that best describe Mission Point Resort. We stayed in the Main Lodge. Our room was newly remodeled & decorated. The lobby area was huge w/o the 6 fireplaces that burned continuously with sitting areas in each. There was even a share a book library that was at least 35 feet long and 3 shelves high. Gardens are everywhere. It was only a 10-minute quick walk to the main part of town and shopping and there is a full line grocery store in town with a wine section for picnic supplies. The staff is incredibly friendly and engaging for questions in helping plan your day on the island.

  • "The location of this hotel is beautiful, breathtaking and memorable"

The location of this hotel is beautiful, breathtaking and memorable. Enjoy your day biking around the island or just put your feet up on the Adirondack chairs in front of the hotel to enjoy your trip

  • "Mission Point offered a high-quality experience"

Mission Point offered a high-quality experience for our offsite retreat. From the conference room to the food and service, we were pleased with the amenities of the resort. Our guests particularly enjoyed the view!

  • “Wonderful place to enjoy the island”

When we return to Mackinac Island, we will not consider staying anywhere else. Totally and wonderfully different from any of the other hotels, especially with respect to Lake and trail access, number of other tourists around the property, and view and sound of Lake Huron. Service was great, too.

  • "Late September was a perfect time to visit"

We took our kids, grandkids, my mom and her friend here over the weekend. (So our ages ranged from 5 years old to 92) We all had a great time at Misson Point Resort and the whole island. Late September was a perfect time to visit. The weather was great because it wasn't too hot or too cold. I liked that the island wasn't crowded like during the summer months, which was great because we had 11 people in our group of all ages. We didn't miss doing anything since all the shops and restaurants were still open. We rented bikes, rode horses, took the carriage tour and the taxi service. So much to see and do!

  • "The views are nothing less than ethereal"

The rooms, though a bit small, feel very warm and inviting. The food has been delicious. The views are nothing less than ethereal. Above all, the staff has been nothing short of generous. Wonderful. Lovely. There may not even be enough words to describe how amazing the staff has been. They are such a personable staff without fail. They've given me nothing but reasons to smile and relax.
