Welcome to Mission Point Resort on the sunrise side of Mackinac Island! We are delighted you are here and look forward to offering you and your party an extraordinary Mackinac Island experience.
Mission Point transcends time; from the moment you step off the ferry, there is an instant sense of nostalgia, where no cars or worries are allowed. While you are here, we invite you to enjoy the wealth of guest activities and services available to you during your stay which can be found in this directory.
Mission Point is home to a variety of restaurants and eateries, offering farm-to-ferry dining and a bounty of fresh ingredients from around the great state of Michigan. I highly recommend the Ware family tradition of enjoying a picnic! Provisions can be found at Boxwood Coffeeshop & Café. The Great Lawn awaits you!
Please note, Mission Point actively supports sustainability efforts with full-time staff members who sort all recyclables. We work closely with the City of Mackinac Island to compost acceptable items as well as food scraps. A horse and dray take our compostable materials to the city compost site, where it is processed and then resold to the public. We purchase it back to use in our 18 acres of grounds and gardens.
Please use this guest directory as your guide to all things Mission Point and Mackinac Island. Should you have any additional questions, please ask any of our team members. You may also visit missionpoint.com for more information.
Again, enjoy your stay and let us know how we can assist in making your Mackinac Island experience extraordinary.
Sincerely,
Mark Ware, CEO
